Need Urgent help WHM/Cpnel

    Hello
    we have recently upgraded our mysql to 5.1 through WHM auto update.
    Our websites have stopped functioning at some parts, we believe it to be because of the following

    WHM shows mysql version 5.1
    Cpanel shows mysql version 4.1

    Why didnt the cpanel version performed the update, or what might have went wrong?


    someone help me how to do that

    You probably need to recompile apache as well. In WHM use the EasyApache (Apache Update) link and update the apache configuration. See if that fixes the problem.

    I agree. If that doesn't work, I would try to do a Forced Update of the software that might fix the problem. I also would suggest looking to verify that CPanel does not have its own installation of MySQL.

    Oh, and look for error logs!
