Need URGENT help related to cash2india(XOOM)

    Hi I am from India and within 2 days I will receive my payment from USA.I prefer to receive it by cash2india(xoom) through PICKUP mode.I visited local Punjab National Bank Branch for the same purpose.They never processed money through cash2india but they made arrangment for the same in bank.But they told me I need account in PNB.Is it true? because I read on internet that no account is needed for PICK UP mode.Cash2india not mentioned this issue in help section.Please help.If account is not needed how can I show them a proof?:confused::confused::confused:

    If your sender from USA send money through cash2india(xoom) and select pick up as disburshment method then at the time of pick up you have to provide below given documents as an Indian as they mentioned at their website.

    I dont think PICKUP mode is allowed in INDIA.U can also request a cheque.

    You are wrong getjimmy. PICKUP mode is allwed if your sender is from outside India.

    PICKUP mode is not allowed only if both sender and receiver are from India.

    Thanks for great support but main question is not answered do I need account in Punjab National Bank(It is partner of xoom to pickup money) to pick up money.Thanks once again.Waiting for reply.

    u dont need any acc. in punjab bak , just carry Id proof/address proof ,transaction details to the bank , call xoom support before going to nearest bank though cuz some punjab bank brach dont know about it , so xoom support will guide you to the right branch :)

    Thanks I talked to Xoom customer care @ 1-800-180-12-33 (toll free).They told me that account is not needed in PNB.Thanks for great support.
