Hi I am trying to ftp files to my server, there is lots of space in my server but still my ftp client (WS_ftp) says:

"550 There is not enough space on the disk"

I have tried windows (browser) ftp also but without any luck.

Please guide me what to do.

    Any help will be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Raj

Check if you've set quotas, or the partition you are on may be full.

Ask your hosting company to free some disk space from your account like spam emails in the catch-all email or delete any core files if found.

It seems that the server's hard drive or the allocated disk space to your account is full. Contact your hosting provider, they should give you some more information.

It seems to be a hosting issue as most of you have mentioned.

Actually I dont use email space associated with my hosting right now and I have tons of space as per my shared hosting service, I dont have access to the disk partition :( but it seems some how my allotted space is being used for their other hosting services.

As per your advice I have initiated a ticket to the support for the problem, hope it will be solved soon.

Thanks to you all for your advice.
