Try cloaking your ip. (you might use www.hotspotshield.com as it is free). Also keep in mind what Squidoo might consider a spam-lens:

Junk topics are topics that have demonstrated an overwhelming attraction to spammers, like:

    Free movie downloads.
    Hoodia Gordoni.
    Acai berry reviews.
    Toenail fungus sales.
    LoseBellyFat!
    Pharmaceuticals.
    WoW gold farming.
    Forex reports.
    Adult content.
    And on and on.

Seems they block alot of people these days

David, the best thing to do is submit a clear and concise bug report, giving all your details such as IP, account name, email address and web browser. Then, wait a few weeks...

I agree. I would suggest you take the time to clear this up now as the resource is well worth a long term effort.

    good idea.

however, we also need to consider the fact that the IP was banned for cause!

Sometimes, Squidoo will ban a whole block of IPs because of abuse by spammers, and occasionally this can lock out an innocent Lensmaster too.

Another person was recently un-blocked from Squidoo, so the best thing to do really is to submit a bug report.

I agree with everyone esle - best thing is to contact squidoo support - i have found them to be very responsive and they do actually read your emails and reply pretty fast - usually same day

Just email them and grovel ;-)

well that doesnt sound good to me. I would prefer to act wisely and go with what Cryogenius said. You should report this issue to squidoo which is more legitimate.

Well if you have not done anything stupid than go for the straight method and apply for the review. Squidoo team is really active now a days and if everything is right from your side than banned will be lift.

    Best of luck.

Many of internet providers put hundreds of users on one 'shared IP' , and in that case it may be someone else, whos activity has been banned by Squidoo.
If you have the 'shared IP' you can not 'unbann' it, as the next day another person spam Squidoo again, using the same IP.
If you are the only user ( dedicated IP ) you can ask Squidoo team for reconsideration.
