I don't really think that there exists such thing like unlimited bandwidth or space. These terms were coined by hosting companies and are used as marketing traps to attract more clients. Unlimited space or bandwidth surely don’t exist. Have you ever heard about a hard disk with unlimited capacity? Hosting companies offer such plan and use these phrases hoping that nobody uses any significant amounts of space or bandwidth.
You are absolutely right turb. Real thing is they all are liars. First they take the money n then they all abuse their customers like not giving them SSH usage or something like customers can't transfer or upload files. They have very less heart to help anybody and they always say in $5 or $6 what do u expect more. lol...... Because there is no such thing as unlimited bandwidth and unlimited space. The people that are telling you that they can do this are full of crap. Any reputable provider would tell you the same thing. My main concern here is with keeping the BST area devoid of unreasonable and ridiculous posts. If you look at just about every other forum on the internet that has a category devoted to Web Hosting, there are generally accepted rules that prohibit "unlimited" this, and "free" that, or "lifetime" this, etc... There are reasons for this. To often there are people that ask for crazy things, then find a bunch of people rushing to offer them the world only to have the OP return to the thread to let us know how they were screwed. Or how, so and so ran off with their money. If you have certain requirements, be reasonable and detailed. Let us know exactly what your requirements are now - if you already know - and what you feel you may need in the future. The "UNLIMITED" stuff is going to get you nothing but scammers, or newbies that know nothing about what they are offering. You both get burned in the end. There are a lot of reputable and decent hosting companies on this forum and when they see posts like this, they are not going to touch them for anything. You're going to end up with exactly what you are asking for. Unlimited headaches. Hope this helps.
