    bcoz there is one shopping website and we need traffic only from UK for this. So what you think adding site to Uk directories and Uk based article directory list will rank this website in Google.co.uk ?

    You need to get on things like FreeIndex/BTTradespace etc

    yourlocaltrades is free,(thats mine!) or there is brownbook.net

    Could you not create some links via forum sigs? (got a "classifieds" section on my Tradesmen's Network Forum which is also free)

    This alone has got me over 45,000 inbound links.

    There are companies, that do charge, but can manually subscribe you to 100's of directories, saves you messing around with the hunting and registering if that sounds any good to you!

    I will suggest you http://bidfortraffic.co.uk, though you have to buy the link for that. I am going to launch the UK directories soon. But they would also paid.
