Need traffic to raise my Alexa rank

Tried several traffic sellers here on DP, but they did not raise my Alexa. Can anyone advise a traffic that REALLY boosts Alexa rank?

 

Try videos, those index very well and if you get the videos targeted enough, the traffic will convert.

 

Backlinks backlinks and backlinks. You need to increase page views and visitors. The best way is to start spreading your name. Start to comment on other forums websites and exchange links with related websites.

buying traffic could not boost your alexa rank... do the seo by yourself... blog commenting and forum posting are the best... I got mine from 1 million down to 200K in just a week..

 

Here's what happened to a site of mine I use mostly for storage of files. It has no backlinks to speak of, and I obviously don't promote the site. What I did do, was upload a page with some Neave.com games embedded, which I play a few times a day. End result: multiple visits every day, and this "visitor" stays on the site for three or four minutes every time. And the Alexa rank on the site keeps climbing! I'm actually a little irritated by it, because it has a higher rank than some of the sites I'm actually promoting! I'm not offering this as some weird ranking trick, but that's the only reason I can think of why the site's dang ranking keeps climbing - unless other people have discovered my private stash of arcade games

 

Thanks for all the advice. But does it possible just to buy some traffic (1,000-2,000 visits per day) that will boost my Alexa?

its not going to put $$$ in your pocket

 

Sdamail the number of people using Alexa is relatively small so if you alone use their toolbar it may significantly increase your ranking.

Also, make sure your profile with Alexa is current.

Finally, you should share the site you are looking to improve in Alexa.
