Iam done with my website which provides some digital stuff on sale. However, iam having trouble getting people to reach me... any idea how this is possible!?!? I added my site on GOOGLE/YAHOO, and im waiting for them to index me.. any idea how to make this process faster? as i have heard people waited a couple of weeks/months!! I heard too other people added high PR links and had their site crawled in a week. ( I dunno what tht really means) Is there any other idea on how to promote my website to increase my customers?! I hope some pro would me out there with some advice
Get some backlinks to your site, for example you could put the site in your signature here, so each time you post you will get a link back, try commenting on blogs, submitting articles to article directories like the first site in my sig below, submitting the site to directories, etc...
