Buying Need to Upload .csv files to MySQL with PHP

I receive a weekly spreadsheet that I'd like to have uploaded into a MySQL database. The spreadsheet has 14 columns with headers in line 1.

I would like to be able to go to a page on my site and upload the csv file each week. The page should also have an input box for me to enter the date. As the csv file is imported into the database, I would like an extra column with the value of the date I enter from the input box.

Ideally the columns in the database would have the same names as the columns in the spreadsheet. Most of the fields would be varchars except two columns would be for ints and two would be decimals.

I was thinking $20 would be fair for this project. If that's agreeable then let me know if you think this is something you can handle.

 

Have you actually found what would do this job quickly and professionally for 20 bucks?

Sometimes, I just have to laugh at the cost someone thinks is "fair"... $20 would barely buy the time needed to look over the CSV...

 

20$ is not a fair price for this in any way but since i'm inbetween jobs right now and i need beer money.. I'll do it, PM me with details.

Thanks for the responses. I've had 6 offers to work on this so I will update this post when I have more news.

 

If you say that 20$ is not a fair price for such an easy task, this means this task is not that easy for you which makes you not a very skilled programmer (not even a mediocre one - this is a damn easy and quick job).
Some people earn 20$ per day of work. 20$ for 30 mins of work is more than enough. (20$*2*8hrs = 320$/day = 6400$/month)

Also, if you expect to earn big money as a freelancer, I have bad news for you
