Need to start a new business, but what?

If you want to earned money without any tension then I must suggest create nice blog and do affialiate marketing.

 

Create a community, around a theme, product or services, then attract advertisers

 

Since you are a good programmer , you can sold some script in flippa, some marketing forum that lot of people looking on that .
It easy that you only sold the script and you get your money.

Maybe you can sell web hosting service include your web development service bundle together.

 

You could always start a business doing logo design and things of that sort. It would be fun, and since your obviously not wanting this to be your primary income, it would fit the bill. You may only get a few clients a month, but you would be working at your own pace and realistically could meet your target

 

I'm not sure if you still need some advise or recommendations. How are you doing now? Have you decided as to what business you will be starting?

 

First, make sure what you are really interested.

 

I'm slowly starting making and selling my own natural soap. I figured it would be a good business since everyone needs soap and the profit margins can be quite good.

This doesn't mean I won't want to start yet another small business but for now I'd like to increase the sales of the products I currently sell. I started another thread to get help with that.

I think you can do data entry for a particular company nearby you.I think it is the better part time option for time pass & also good for additional source of income.
