It is very competitive market, depends on websites you're targeting and your proven track record, client testimonials and client content which people would like to refer. A freelancing site could be good start.

 

Being able to demonstrate a great track record usually does the trick. What have you successfully optimised before?

If you are good at SEO you shouldn't need to "try" and sell SEO, your work should speak for itself. It doesn't instill much confidence when your role is to promote a customers site and you can't promote your own services.

However the best way is post in the Services forum with examples of your work.

Why would this post be placed in here?

Why try to sell something by pretending that you are looking for help?

Why brag about getting serps for garbage key words?

Why brag about getting serps for real competitive key words (beauty, health, etc.), yet not offer url's for those?

Is it just me, or is this weird??
