Hi people, I have been watching the activity of my kids for a week and that puts me in doubt. They have been spending too much time on the system and I found some files on the system that they shouldn’t have accessed (the ones that their age does not permit). I fear that this may spoil them from the academic view and I need to prevent them from doing this and at the same time do not want to restrict their time on the system. Any suggestions?????
Put the computer in the living/lounge room. Then you can actually hang out with your kids while they're nerding away on the computer, and you can also keep an eye on them.
This might interest you.... http://www.download3000.com/download_13215.html I don't know why am I suggesting this coz I am myself 15. But, anyways...
hit your kids. then they will know that if they get caught they will get hit. makes them want to behave.
Beating children is the worst you can ever do. That plays havoc with there confidence level. Discipline can not be forced on someone, it can only come from within!
Ah, I love you dude! There is a hell of a lot of software out there you can use. Most have in built filters that can be passworded. I would start there. I agree with moving the computer to the living room. Set time's for them to use the pc. I.e. not later than say 10pm.
I didn't say beat, I said hit. A beating would be like...5 hits. And if you can't get them to behave in 3, ur doin it wrong.
Your physical presence is the only guarantee against them doing something other than that which you desire. If that does not work, take the puter away.
Make your kids watch so much violence and porn until it sickens them. Or is that with smoking cigarettes? I can't remember.
that's what worked for me. I wouldn't try it with smokes though, because they have addictive ingredients, might just get your kid hooked.
if i were you, i d stop my kid from using the computer so much and take them out for sports or soemthing with family activities.
You sir, have made it in my sig. That^^ made me laugh. Anyway, I would say just pay close attention and like others said put it in the living room. Lets face it, your kids probably would have more control of that protection software than you would anyway.
