Hey i am making a computer video how to and help site. i Dont know what forum to use. Some people recommenced mybb and phpbb3. I dont have any money soo.... thanks in advance!
phpbb is free and can be installed with one click... If you need a dig out,, just pm me... The movie forum in my SIG is phpbb,,, It can stretched and pulled to suite your needs,, also is very easy to modify.. Just as the one in my SIG has been, it’s a basic free template, but I have modified the header and footer,, also made the post text bigger, as most of my users are old and blind as bats..LOL
it depends phpbb3 is harder to get use to but if you are a quick learner then i recommend phpbb3 because you are able to do more with. mybb is much easier to use but you can do less with it. they are both great it just depends on what you want
Play around with phpBB 3 and MyBB and see what you like. I know based on my own experience, I've found MyBB much easier to use and the Google SEO plugin has been very effective.
