Hello, I see many of DP members are quite experienced, so I hope someone could give me some worthwhile advices. I have many sites. I want to link them each to another so that these links have some weight for Google and increased my sites' SERPS. How to avoid Google determining that all these sites belong to one person? Does it actually care about that? As far as I know one thing I should certainly consider is making different IPs for my sites. Should I host them at one hosting company asking for dedicated IP addresses for each of my site OR is it better to host all the sites on different hosting companies (I believe the last variant is more expensive, isn’t it?)? What else should I consider? Thanks for sharing.
Typically if you are using the same host, the IPs are going to be off the same block.... use search, PLENTY of discussions regarding this!
I am trying to, but didn't find someone who knows for sure yet. Who is experienced and who checks everything, making tests, but not just assuming theories.
You would need different hosts, different whois details and to be very clever with the way the sites are linked. No sitewide footer links to all your sites.
That's interesting. But why no site-wide footer links? Can't one site be linked from site-wide sites all from footer though? Why is that bad? I mean, why should Google penalize for that? By the way, did you check it somehow, made any tests or just you and maybe also some other people consider so? Thanks.
If you have 5 sites and all 5 sites have sitewide footer links to the other 4 sites then it doesn't take much for google to figure out that the links are either paid or unnatural.
