The PHP manual is a great way to learn PHP. Install something like XAMPP, and just start making 'stuff'.

Also, this would include constructing the code in between the <HEAD> tag of your website, which changes depending on the code you're using, programs you're using and important for meta tags.
w3schools is the good place to learn these. Also you get some good tutorials on eZdia , just search it on eZdia in the related category and you will get it easily.
