Hi and Welcome to DP . I have just started with HTML too. You can get a lot of information on the net itself. You may find this thread useful. Also you can try out learning from books too....which is the way I prefer. I got a few books in the dummies series. Check them out: http://www.dummies.com/WileyCDA/DummiesTitle/productCd-0471781177.html http://www.dummies.com/WileyCDA/DummiesTitle/productCd-076450777X.html http://www.dummies.com/WileyCDA/DummiesTitle/productCd-0764596497.html http://www.dummies.com/WileyCDA/DummiesTitle/productCd-0764540920.html http://www.dummies.com/WileyCDA/DummiesTitle/productCd-0764589172.html http://www.dummies.com/WileyCDA/DummiesTitle/productCd-0764573276.html http://www.dummies.com/WileyCDA/DummiesTitle/productCd-0764568450.html
I've found online tutorial sites to be the best prize. Simply search Google until you come across the particular topic you're looking for. As far as web design, I'd recommend DreamWeaver, as several others on the forum would. It's a WYSIWYG editor, which means "what you see is what you get." It makes doing things alot easier when you can see exactly how your result will look. Best of luck.
I actually started off with a class in high school. Never really go into it though. As time flew by, I started to learn more and more about HTML. That is when I decided to start a few sites and I now love it! I got the basics in the classroom. Everything else I tought myself
There is a site I've recently created that might be what you are looking for. You can see it at http://www.codeitall.com
w3schools... or lynda... best for any kind of tutorials.. former is free.. latter is paid membership.. former is text based... latter is video tuts!!
I agree!.. try also web-source.net. you can also try dreamweaver it is more user friendly than notepad. just type and place image. but still needs a little knowledge in html
try http [colon] //websedge [dot] googlepages [dot] com for a simple introduction to HTML and an HTML generator
