Need to know how this works out

First off, thank you for taking the time to look at this thread. Now down to business. I would like a review on this website here:

the header and the menu is confusing..

 

I like the images, but maybe put those as blended watermarks and allow more text?

I like it. Nice and elegant. I think the only thing which could be improved would be making the links in the center more obvious so its more intuitive to navigate by all.

 

any suggestions on bettering the links then???

 

Nice and simple. You can tell what its advertising straight away.
