    Signup for adwords , and budget , it depends on you how much you want to spend as google has unlimited traffic lol :D

    Yeah., you need to sign-up for adwords. Then target the keywords that you want... in this case it would be your domain URL. you could also try the keywords that you are looking to rank for too!

    Also, don't forget yahoo and bing. they have viable traffic too!

    It depends on the competitiveness and bid of the keyword/keyphrase you want to advertise and how much traffic you want.

    Yes, WishBone is absolutely right the more competitive your key phrases are the more expensive they are.

    Google actually has an interesting tool within adword that allows you to estimate your cost and the number of clicks you will get based on your keywords. its a good place to start, and you can actually play around with the numbers. For example, if you set your budget very low for each click, then it will also estimate what place your ad will be placed, how many clicks based on the search keyword and the average cost/day for your keywords.
