Need to keep ad_network_ads_188.txt?

We put ad_network_ads_188.txt on the domain that runs co-op ad. Once we start running ads, ad_network_ads_188.txt writes some text on itself.

q1. Do we need to keep this text file with the text written on it indefinitely?

q1.2. Is it ok to replace this with empty ad_network_ads_188.txt file at some point?

Suppose that I lose the file; server crash or some catastrophic accident deletes the file. Then what do I do? I guess a more important question I should ask is, what happens then? Do I lose some credit (weight) that I accumulated?

If the server crashes or something like that you would need to go through the setup instructions again.

My apology if my next question sounds repetitive. If the server crashes or something like that happens, are you going to lose your weight or credit that you earned before that?

My general understanding is that it's better to stay in co-op longer to get more benefit from it, and I'm wondering if I'm going to be able to keep that, whatever benefit it is, if some catastrophic accident happens.
