ok I have this site www.myprofilepimp.net gets liek 1k uniques a day yet I am not really that much on google or any other search engines I just promote via myspac/forums ....my question is how do I get a ok spot on google for like "myspace pimped" "new layouts" etc etc...I dont understand how it works...im a newbie to this game!
in VERY basic terms... articles on those topics links to your site from other sites with those words as the link from relevant sites repeat the above
For Google in particular, the most important thing you can do is obtain inbound links (backlinks) from related, credible websites, using variations of your keywords as the hyperlink text (anchor text). This factor trumps all others with respect to ranking in Google. HTH, Sam
