Need to extend wifi

So I have just moved into a flat next to my brother. I dont have wifi but he does, I am within range and I can get 2-3/5 bars. The problem is my speed is too slow, its un-bearable. I need something to get faster speeds, will this do the job? http://www.broadbandbuyer.co.uk/products/18069-edimax-cv-7428ns/

    Thanks in advance!

    Drill hole, run CAT5.

Or get a cheap USB WiFi dongle and a $2 wok.
    It works. I've done it.

You just need a simple antenna to connect to your brother wifi router.
A wifi antenna is between 30-50 euro if you want a higher range.
If the router has a/b/g/n is more then enough and all you need is a wifi antenna that can cover long distances for full signal and quality signal and also to support a/b/g/n.

I use Edimax router too. You can use a second router or a repeater to extend the reach. A second router is just for covering the area. The speed depends on what you have subscribed from the ISP. Hope this helps !

LOL! or just live with your brother :p I think you need a faster router. or, maybe the problem is with your device? have you tried connecting other gadgets, if it also gets a weak signal?

I love the wok option, but did want to suggest that he run a Cat6 cable if he is going go through the trouble of drilling a hole in the wall. ;)
