Need to do link building for my site

    I am newbie to Search Engine Optimization Topic and would like to know more about link building. I have a Accounting site and I need to do the Search Engine Optimization for the site.

    I have heard of link building so I need your help and views on how to do link building of my site....

    I really wish people would just do a quick search on the forums for this... there have been literally thousands of other threads asking the same.
    A quick list of ways to build backlinks:
    Forums (through signature)
    Blogs (through commenting)
    Web Directories (Free or Paid... paid is better)
    Link exchanges

    - Go through those websites which are related to your industry and approach those to post a link of yours
    - Write articles related to your website and post those at article websites, you will get atleast 1 link there.
    - Go through quality blogs and share your thoughts there, you will get links through blog post or blog comments.

    just post in the section of link exchange with post of need link related to your keyword.......there are lots of persons there who wnt to exchange links....

    I'm at the same place I understand that I need links buy I don't know where to get them. It's seems extremely time consuming. I want to learn seo there has to be something these companies are doing to rank quickly. J would even be willing to work for a successful seo expert so I can learn the business

    if you really wanna learn it, there are lots of tutorial and quick lessons that would help you understand more about SEO..it wont take much of your time if you read it..know the concept first before starting promoting your site..
