I have the following code in footer.php for one wordpress theme and there are plenty of crap links in footer which I wanted to reduce and keep few. If any one please decode and give me the exact code so that I can add in my footer file:

Instead of decoding if you replace the footer with other template's footer that works well.

 

Not possible. It breaks the layout completely. Not sure what code is added by the template author that after removing the code and putting some other theme's footer file removes many thing from the theme :/

 

Most of the time replacing with other footer templates doesn't work. I have already tried this trick. It causes a broken theme.

You may not alter or decode this file, its against the law, maby you could ask the creator of the theme

 

That code must have been related to the rest of your theme files. You'll need to look at every one of the php files attached to the theme, and find the instance called $o. You then do the necessary code removal from there.

so your asking to remove the copyright links to a style you like?
that isn't nice, the author spent money to buy the style, money to distribute the style, and you want to remove the only credits they have??

why not just buy your own style, you can get one for under 100$ and you can put whatever links you want

whats the style your trying to edit anyways?

 

if you do not keep those crapy links then do not use that theme. Check for some other theme which have links (you like)

 

It's a FREE theme but encoded with the above code so I don't think it's wrong in decoding it.

No one here does decoding for free as everyone seems to be asking money

 

Its best to just leave it there if you are using the theme. Imagine your copyright info being removed by the users

Yeah, they're right. You're better off using other themes than to try and remove the code. It's the ethical and fair way to go.

Anyway, don't expect much help, FunWadi. Many of these nice people have paid a lot of money for footer links. They are not about to help you or anyone remove them.

if it doesn't match your content then check other themes. there are plenty of theme available.
