need to check client OS for IE and mozilla

    Hi everyone,

    I need a way to check what operating system is the user running on his computer. Windows 95, 98, XP, Vista, Mac ...

    I know that it might be possible using navigator object but I dont know how to wright code for both, IE and Mozilla.

    Can somebody help me?

    I tested that script and it just gives me a very ambiguous answer - Windows 3.1 or Windows NT. My OS is Windows XP! Is there a more accurate technique?
