depends on how muich traffic are you getting recents months ,its very hard to hit that mark.You need lots of money if its a new site.
You said PAGEVIEWS not UNIQUES so there's definitely ways to do it. The easiest that comes to mind is to come up with something like MEGAUPLOAD or RAPIDSHARE. Filesharing sites get TONS of traffic. Unfortunately, the targeting would be very very challenging.
Have you tried Federated Media for your marketing of site? They seem to be really heavy hitters for huge sites needing lots of impressions. Be forewarned though, will cost some $$$ upfront.
Can you provide more parameters? Is this from 0 to 3,000,000, or are they already pretty established? What is your budget? Also, is that 3,000,000 per month? With enough $$$, even 3 Million Uniques isn't hard, and 3 Million page views could be pretty easy with the right type of site (e.g. picture gallery). Let us know a little more so we can help. Anita
Allow me to clarify it a little bit more. The client is looking for uniques, and hopefully the traffic will become repeat users on their free service. Which means at least 40K+ CPM packages per month according to an analysis of a competitor. Still shopping around for a trusted network with the right targeted categories to partner up with. Sites like Megaupload, and RapidShare may not be a good choice.
Have you gotm a budget for this? Its gonna be hard to get to 3 million. Is this an established site? if so how many pageviews is it hitting at he moment?

Even if your site was Dugg every single day for 30 days (which would almost certainly not happen), you couldn't expect more than a few hundred thousand UVs (since the same Digg users would be revisiting), but probably close to 3 Million pageviews. 3 Million uniques is closing in on the size of Digg. It's bigger than CollegeHumor.com, and would easily put your site in the top 100 sites on the web. That is MASSIVE. Assume you'd need $50K/month to sustain that kind of number in the short run. If you have a way to do it for far less than that, let me know and I'd gladly pay you for your services. Anita

Slava - like me, his client would probably discount traffic that would appear to be from bots, autoclickers, popunders, etc. (I say this because it would be easy for me to buy 3 Million unique popunders for $15K, but that's junk traffic IMO). I'm sure they are looking for 3 Million in real human engaged traffic. If you can deliver real traffic like this, for < $.005 / UV, you should be advertising your services to the world ... as you'd provide something that almost nobody has ever done.
Very true. Premium traffic of that quantity, which is what hes looking for, would cost around $70,000-$100,000.
Anita - I'm not talking about crap traffic from bots, and autosurf/autoclick. I mean a targeted advertising campaign that can effectivly bring in 3 million uniques. I don't guarantee all 3 million will be interested in the site, but these will not be 3 million random people. With a 90 day time span, I would need to aquire 33,333 visitors daily if mathematically devided. But all in all I think even half would be sufficient. With a strong advertising campaign, word of mouth, bloggers, and links that are made as a result of the advertising will match if nto beat the actual advertising campaign. If you think the only way to advertise is to go through adwords and pay $1/click on a targeted keyword then sadly you are wasting good money, that I would be happy to take off of your hands. It is hard to scale down and run a 1,000 visitor campaign at a proportional rate. But if you have the money for it, there are definately ways to get a good successful campaign at a low price. If anybody here has the money and guts to take me up on my words then PM me. I'm not gonna take the money and run, or take it and hide my secrets. I will walk through every step of the technique, and you will know everything that I do.
Given that additional info, I don't think MU and RS would be good fits. Try large mainstream CPM companies.
3M unique visits (as you stated in post #8) per month would be amazing. This is somethign that takes most sites a few years. You can go for it, and I wish you the best, but that is a tough thing to offer to a client, unless he is willing to give you a couple hundred thousand dollars. Good luck.
