Need to add more keywords but says too many so deleted some but still cant add more

    I have quite a lot of keywords in my account, all used, I need to add 3k more and when I did it said I cant due to too many keywords, anyhow when I deleted a few keywords to make room I still cant add the new ones.

    Also I noticed old deleted keywords were still in my account.

    What are my options please?

    Can you just clarify why do you need to add another 3K keywords ?

    You need to focus on your niche and target more specific KW's. If you are already running a campaign then look at your CPC and CTR's hopefully you have tracking code in place to see what are your best performing KW's.

    how many kws are you using?
    is it blocking your account, your campaign or your ad group?

    Use Adwords Editor to get rid of the keywords you don't want.

    Why do you need so many keywords?
