Cool looking website but I would suggest trying to start small to build rank. For instance: try and comment on related websites (blogs usually have comment forms) and try and get a keyword to show up in google ranks to build traffic and then rank and then hopefully you get link exchange requests! Good luck!
Try interlinking the pages of your site. Also put a link on other pages that links back to your index page.
This is good advice. Look at how Wikipedia links to itself all the time with contextual links, and do this in a similar way.
