Make sure you have some way to track visitors, etc., by using a tracking program. Google analytics is good, but is biased to Google and doesn't show you the entire picture. Pull long tailed keyphrases to use to write articles based on them and submit to Ezine, Goarticles, etc..Go to Microworkers or MTurk and hire someone to create accounts on the major bookmarking sites. Make sure you have good h1, META, etc., in your code.
I do not see any links to the categories in the header, and since you do not have a side bar, I do not see any category links there. Category links are important so people can sort through yours site. I highly suggest that you add some to the header.
navigation could be a bit more intuitive. you might want to feature a link to "popular posts" higher up on the page, so folks can find it easier. also, add the RSS/email feed buttons from feedburner.
