Hello All, I have created Campaign for my business. I have done intensive keyword analysis and created a campaign with 3 AD Groups. Adwords accepted those keywords and my Ad is running now. But the things is I have around 25,000 impressions, in which i got 30 Clicks. Obviously my CTR is very low.. Can anyone suggest some technique to improve my overall Clicks. As i am targeting only to get more visits rather than conversion to start with. Awaiting for your valuable suggestions to solve this issue.
Have you got the content network turned on as you CTR seems very low. If not are your keywords very generic, expand the list focusing on more targeted keywords and groups them with good relevant adverts.
Thanks for your reply.. May i know where should i Check on the Content Network.. And for your infomration i have not used too many Generic keywords and i have targeted around 200 Keywords for single d Group..
At the bottom of your campaigns you should see a Total - search and a Total - content amount. From this you will see if the content network is switched on and also the number of impressions, clicks and the CTR for both the search and the content network
Thnks I have done tht.. So now my ads will be placed on all the Google Content Networks.. and i also thinks that Relevancy is important.. thnks for your tips
1 - Create more ad groups. 2 - Include your keyword on the ad headline (when your keyword is on the headline it become bold and grab more attention). 3 - Create 3 ad variants for each ad group and see which convert better (after some time you will see that one of these ads have better CTR so then you will disable the other and stay only with the variant with the highest CTR). 4 - Create separate campaigns for the content and the search networks.
So you want me to use the same bunch of keywords for those Ad Variants, Ad Variants is in the sence Same d with different Title and Description.. I think i am correct I have also identified some keywords that can get me more business through Adwords and i have used them in both Ad Title as well as Ad Content.. I got these Impressions in 7 days.. so am gng in a right path..
I implemented a good set of negative keywords. If you are using broad/phrase match keywords then its imperative you implement negatives to block the unwanted clicks and impressions. This can make a big difference to your campaign, not only can it save you money but can also increase relevance, CTR and hopefully revenue. Checkout keywordterminator, they have a free white paper on the subject of negatives.....
Thanks SDC. Yes that's something important to neglect the Negative Keywords. I have done a Broad and Phrase Match analysis and selected a bunch of keywords which i have placed in the negative keyword lists.
