I'm in the process of creating my LP, and I'd like help from three people who fit the following criteria: - have either a digital video camera, or have a camera built into their computer - speak culturally proper English (preferably with either an American or English accent) - have the capability of setting up a semi-successful setting for a short video (ie not in a bathroom or with a background that looks like a poorly lit trailor) - can dress presentably (Polo shirt at minimum, with hair done, etc.) - feel like making $15 for less than 5 minutes of work If you are indeed interested, email me: tyler@better-business-strategies.com Thanks!
Go to elance.com and order them. I do not think anyone here will help you with this. This is not the purpose of this forum.
I considered that before even coming here. Problem is, eLance.com has a minimum budget of $50 per project. Technically, this is three different projects, and I would not pay $50 for a minute-long, intentionally amateur video.
Without investing you would not get anything. I paid much more than that for those type of videos. People there are experienced and know what to say, how to say it. You would probably need to sell just 2 copies of your product to get back your $50. So, why do you hesitate?
I already have what to say, as I'm using real testimonials as the script. As far as how to say it, again, I am not looking for professional actors. These need to have the appearance of regular Joes who are now earning online. It's not an issue of money. It's an issue of principle. I need three people who speak English, own a clean polo shirt, have access to a decent room, have some form of video capability, are able to recite from a script, and have 5 minutes of spare time. I am not paying $10/minute for that. It's going to look like "nothing." It's supposed to. That's the point. That's the appearance of the "regular Joe."
Well, you are not going to find that here! And on elance I do not hire professional actors as well. Your principles will cost you in this business. Good luck, but this forum will not help you with this need.
Understood. I honestly figured it would be a longshot here. This was just one place I thought I'd look. As far as principles costing me, I doubt it. This is an industry filled with people who want what they pay for, and pay for what they want. I want something of a certain quality. I will not overpay for it. I'll simply find it elsewhere (I actually just found what I was looking for, so no worries ). Such habits will quickly get you taken advantage of in this industry, which is comprised almost completely with people who will charge you as much as you're willing to pay, and not necessarily what something is worth. I do appreciate you discussing it with me, though. Take care.
