A coin dealer of mine asked me to set up a site for him. I'm completely STUCK! There are virtually no templates that are friendly for a real store. Almost all suit ecommerce store. He simply wants a small banner with a picture of his store, content underneath that which outlines the coin store, and then some pictures of the merchandise. Any help would be appreciated! Basically every single theme I run across is "Read More" (Breaks up articles) or has the image preview ... I just need text rich templates. Sorry been slamming my head against a wall the last 3 hours.
I don't understand. There are 100's if not 1000's of themes out there. With a little creativity and some HTML you make any one of them have the layout that you are looking for. You can adjust the "read more" to either be as long as you want, or adjust your excerpts to fit. If you can't do it by editing the template, you can use a plug in: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-limit-posts-automatically/ As far as styling, I don't understand the problem. You probably aren't going to find a theme specifically for Numismatics, you will likely have to customize one.
