Need Suggestions on building backlinks and promotion of Indian Movie Website

    Hi all,

    I would like to have suggestions from you for building backlinks for an Indian movie website. My website Moviewood.net contains Trailers, Previews and other articles related to movies.

    If your answer is web directories please point out which all are the best free directories for my niche.

    Also please tell me other ways of generating backlinks.

    Free link directories are OK, especially those with good SEO for the submitted links (check if you can add your own keywords for the submitted link!).

    *. As far as your site is about movies, you can go for the forums where people talk about movies and be active member over there
    *. There are many bloggers who write about movies and all, Place comments there and get backlinks
    *. There are many entertainment sites on the internet nowadays. You can contact admins of those sites and request for a backlink to your site.

    Apart from these, you can do social bookmarkings, article marketings and etc to promote your site.
