Honestly, in my experiences, when it comes to SEO, you get what you pay for. I pay much more for higher quality services over the cheap people who use software. I prefer manual submissions only. I use a mix of directory submissions, social bookmarks, blog commenting, guest blog posting, article marketing, press releases, and more.
