Need suggestions of hosting with fast+stable servers

    I plan to create a website which would included it own search engine.

    Do anyone have any ideas or experiences with Hosting Companies that provide dedicated severs or virtual dedicated servers that are fast, stable, and also can handle java?

    I am using ActiveServe and ServerPronto for dedicated hosting. Both are straining under the load my sites generate, so the site speed is average. A friend of mine swears by "BeachComber Creations" dedicated hosting, but I haven't tried it myself.
