I'm looking to buy a web hosting service... I have three website to launch and so I was interested to buy a hosting service which allow me to host multiple website. I have came across two web hosting services : 1)http://www.mochahost.com/webhosting.php (Mocha $5.95 paln) 2)http://www.hostgator.com/shared.shtml (Baby Plan) The 1st website i mentioned is providing me with 1 free life time domain where as hostgator don't have this option... Can anyone tell me the best of the two.. If any one have a an alternative then please mention it here... my budget is $100 for 1 year with unlimited disk-space, bandwidth, mysql database, and can host atleast 10 website... Also if anyone tell me where can i buy Cheap Domain then it will be very useful.
Hostgator probably has coupon codes if you look for them. I'd never get a free domain (that's just me), what happens when you quit, will they transfer ownership over to you? You have to read the rules very carefully. Anyway, this is in the wrong forum section.
Actually I'm am not allowed to post in WEB HOSTING section of this forum and i'm quite regular on this section so I opted to Post my query here..
Its better u buy a domain from a proper domain registrar and then get hosting . use hostgator buy a yearly plan or maybe get ipower its cheap and gives a free domain too
http://www.name.com/ http://namecheap.com/ http://godaddy.com/ http://domainsite.com/ These are some famous domain registars
Whois means who is the owner of the domain if we do a whois search we can get the details of owner of the domain .
I'm very happy with HG but Mocha might be just as great I just have no experience with them. But the main thing is to not decide only based on the free domain.
Am not deciding anything depending on domain... DOMAIN was the only difference i found out in two... Both provide almost same feature... its just that i want to know which is more reliable and better then the other...
You shouldn't be asking this on digitalpoint. WebHostingTalk.com is much more reliable for this kind of stuff.
Its better to buy domain from a proper registrar so that if u want to change host in future u dont need to worry about the domain ownership problems
