Dear all, i have a domain coketv.com. i want to use this domain on new website idea is to make website like 9gag.com.. then monetize with adsense ads i am little confused about name.. should i use this domain.. i know name in the domain is coke not cocacola.. but still need expert advice Thanks
If you need expert advice, you should probably hire an attorney. You won't get expert legal advice (or any legal advice) here. Coke also refers to Cocaine, Coke fuel, petroleum coke, etc. If you're running a cocaine TV site, then you're probably fine. Otherwise, you may be better off looking for another domain. Like everyone said stay away from that domain see if you can delete it, let it drop or give it to the coke company.

Well, it's their polite way of saying, "just because you have a domain name with our trademarked name in it doesn't mean we are going to acquire it from you". But that doesn't mean that once you launch a site, they will not send a cease and decease email to you. Why do you want to play with fire? Spare yourself a headache, drop that domain name as it was suggested.
Just want to say that Nissan.com is not owned by nissan company, the guy who owns the domain is an IT guy. He registered the domain under the name of his organization which is "Nissan Computer Corp.". And they even monetized the page with one banner lol. If whole "coketv" is one Noun then its a different brand name.
