Need suggestion for my site.

    My site get 5000 unique visits per day, but hosted in a share hosting.
    Do I need a ' Virtual Dedicated Server' or 'Dedicated Server' for the site?
    If yes then please suggest the configuration.I have a configuration is it ok for this, Please suggest.

    Operating System:CentOS or Fedora
    Bandwidth:500GB
    Hard Drive:10GB
    RAM:256MB, 1 GB Bursted

    I would suggest you go the route of a VPS for your site. Of course, you would have to look for a managed provider if you do not know, or wish to learn, how to manage a server. If you have a majority audience in a certain geographical area, I would suggest looking for a provider within that area, to ensure connection speeds are quick.

    start with a vps and see what happens and if u need more then move up to a dedicated server

    If you are going to get a VPS with cpanel, get more than 256mb of ram.

    Go with a Virtual Private Server for now. Dedicated Server should be your next upgrade step when your site grows even further.
