hey guys! how r u ? i need to create 2 versions of my website...means 2 sub pages, for single domain, one sub page optimized for google guidelines and second page optimized for bing guidelines, and i want to restrict bots on both pages, i.e first page belongs to google bot and second page belongs to bing bot and so bing page wont index and crawled by google and google page wont index and crawl by bing, long store short: i want to create different version of pages for google and bing.... and its not cloaking, for example, if visitor will come from google.com, then page shown same as crawled and indexed by google and same for bing. whats your suggestions? its good practice to create pages for google and bing? as google and bing guidlines are totally collide each other!
It's a good practice. But I don't understand if you create 2 sub pages that have same url or different and these 2 pages contain same content or different. One more question is that if you restrict one page for google still then I think there are chances to appear that page in google search as you get backlinks, which is not restricted for google. Anyway try and best of luck.
thanks for suggestion, might be it will create mishap in back links! i will look forward for another practice, so whats ur opinion? how to create page that is totally follow guidelines for both bing and google? as google new updates already hurted so much...
I think its good research and good practice for your experience. as i think you can use same content on both page 1 and page 2. But i think it is good when you do this thing on few pages but what about any big websites. Should we make clone site for other search engine?? Its will headache for you when you start link-building for each url. Because now you have to do double link submission on single products page for rank in different search engine. What you say?? What you thought about this??
