Need Suggestion About Something Similar To Bumping Thread

Dear DP staff/senior members,

I understand that after sometime we cannot edit the first post of our thread in BST Forum.
I ran into some difficulties because of the rule, i.e.;

I ran a sales campaign in the forum. It didn't go well and I have nearly zero respond to the thread. I'd like to make improvements to my sales copy-that is my first post of course- I thought it could lift up my sales.

But....since I couldn't edit my first post, I tried to improve it at the next posts. I added some valuable info which I thought can ignite other members' interest in my product.

Then I was beginning to see responds. But there were only few of them so I decided to give more additional info (btw these are really useful info, not just some spam stuff trying to bump thread).

And then....there it was in my cp, infraction for bumping thread.

Question :
How does someone who wants to improve their "nearly zero replies" Selling thread, improve their thread/sales effort without getting infraction for bumping thread ?

Given the condition that we are not allowed to edit our sales copy (first post).

Should we just close the thread - just like that - & make a new thread, starting all over again from scratch?

Please, your answer would be much appreciated.
BTW, I'm really sorry if you thought I made something wrong that was worth of infraction. I didn't mean any harm & I promise to be more careful next time.

Don't make duplicate threads then bump them.
