Hello dear digitalpoint members, My name's anass, and i gonna start my first website In CPA marketing. But I have confusion regarding domain names. Which one is the better option? Any Help Please. Regards, Anass
Which domain names are you considering? Hard to advise you if we don't know which ones appeal. What niche within CPA are you going to target?
try to find a nice, .com domain name. Compared to all the other TLD's available, .com is usually the most valuable, and most widely acceptable. Avoid any domain that is hard to spell, or is a non-english word, has typing errors, or has a hypen in it. While .com is best, you may have to use a .biz, or other TLD For most part, your TLD will have little impact on SERPs. If you are looking where to buy domains, I highly recommend namecheap for buying domains.
@sarahk : first i want to thank you for your answer , well i will choose helth niche especialy men's health and wormen's health may be i will add fitness @matt_62 hello dear i really appreciate your help , well what i'm looking for is the name that i will choose do i need a domaine name with www."niche"reviews.com with reviews is in the domain name or productonline.com wich one is the best in selling and make costumers trust in my website (also i'm using only blog)
A "nice" .com domain is hard to come by nowadays. If you can't find one that's short, sweet, and to the point (relates to your website), the next best option is a .net, or perhaps a new extension.
well i found this domain name : menshealthmarket.com aged domain that i think will help me promoting my products
good luck finding niche+reviews but you could do well by setting yourself up as an expert and having anassreviews.com
A beginner in the world of health and fitness isn't any place I'd want to be. It is so hugely competitive and there are so many highly qualified people already well established. If you don't have a fierce passion for this niche then I'd say don't do it. There are no easy niches but you'll do better and earn more if you have an education and passion for your subject - without it you're just another wannabe who will be disappointed by hours spent and money not earned.
op. Your name choice sounds great. Well, I did cover that in my speech.... Except that I dont agree with simply grabbing the new extensions and expecting instant results. Personally, I own fantastic.fitness as I have a fantastic idea for that domain-> but I know that most people arent ready to accept the brand new TLD's. The older TLD's are still preferred as they are widely recognised. It might have to be a year or two before I launch a site using fantastic.fitness Even though I own multiple names using the new TLD's; The main reason I think people might be best for the time being to use the traditional TLD's is that I recently handed out marketing material, to a wide range of different people so that I could gauge the effectiveness of the design, names and so on. The domain with the .biz extension was immediately recognized as being a website that they could visit. (.com .biz .net .org .info all fair really well) The newer tld (was .cards in my example, and did not have "www") this domain was not recognised as being a website. BUT while I had to explain in person that it was indeed a website, whats odd, is that its the new TLD that they can remember a week later -> the other traditional TLD's they have forgotten. Now if 100% of your leads comes from internet marketing, then it wont impact on your business. However, if your advertising on billboards, print media, in an essence you need to educate the market about the TLD. Your potentially losing clients that wont recognise it as being a website. Having a www(dot)newdomain(dot)newtld on all promotional material helps people to recognise that it is indeed a website. Without the "www" your marketing campaign wont work. Additionally, some phones wont recognise the new tld's without having the "http://" all typed in. In time, the new TLD's will become more widely used and accepted, but right here and now, sticking to the traditional TLD options will give the best result for both internet marketing as well as traditional marketing techniques. No, just No.
The sample size was not very big so its not exactly a 100% reliable study. Im sure that over a larger group of people there might be different results. But from the tests that I did, the older TLD's were all equally recognized as being websites. .biz .com .org .info .net showed no difference in being recognized as being a website. The trouble is I own .cards, .fitness, .care and with a small sample, and not putting on the www on marketing material, people will tell you that you have a typing error. One person asked me why I didnt put the website on it. They just wont recognise it as being a website. It will take time before they are widely recognised, (and the mass release of over 2000 tld's isnt helping) in the meantime, I am planning to redo the marketing for one of my sites and, instead of having the domain, I will have to have something like "visit our website www." and hopefully this will clearly indicate to the readers that it is a website, and not a typing error. Doing promotions and marketing costs so much, which is why I like to do small sample sizes, to gauge the initial reactions, and then go back to try to find ways to improve it before doing a large scale promotion.
