    Hello,

I own a website related to Cakes, flowers, Chocolates and Gifts. We are running e- commerce website since 1 and half year. We invested around 25 Lakhs ( Indian Rupees) so far.

We generating income of Rs. 1 Lakh ( Indian Rupees) Per Month, after all expenditure and salaries.

Now we got a investor, he is ready to invest 10 Lakhs rupees on our website,
What you guys suggest, can i agree for this? If yes, how much percentage do i need to owe him.

What are the terms and conditions, do i need to agree with him?

Please suggest me on this, so that i can think of it.

I have less time to say yes or no to investor, so guys please give me the best idea on this.

    Thank you.

does he know how much you invested? i assume he only knows your profit per month...

i would have him make an offer, and will it be % of gross or % of net he gets?

it is always better if the other party makes an offer first so you can make a counter offer.

btw. how many us$ is "rs 1 lakh"

    Hello,
Thank you so much for your reply.

He doesn't know, how much we invested, he knows only profit what we get permonth.

    1 lakh = 2000 USD

He want to invest 10 lakhs = 19000 USD.

    is this good deal?

what should i do? how share income ?

that most i would offer him would be 20% to 25% of profits...

are you going to use his money to update the site? if so, his total investment would be about 28% of site cost.

like i said, see what he offers... then you can counter offer

Have you done a sales / income projection, with and without their investment? If you expect your sales and income to go up drastically, you might be able to offer or counter for less.
Are you taking the income out of the business now? If you can, reinvest it.
