Hello, I m working on one premium keyword, competitions is around 100 million. I am working on this keyword since last 1.5 month and i ranked on 12th page in google.com which was not in ranking before. i have done article submission, directory submission, on page optimization and comment posting for the same. but i didn't see more updates in ranking. it move upward but slowly. is there other ethical way to get ranking for that keyword. i can post url or keyword here, sorry for that. let me know if you have any suggestion or other desired method. please don't suggest like do link building with relevant sites and get more back links for that keyword and bla bla. coz i know all those things as i m working in this filed since last 2 years. Looking for some expert's advise.
Make sure your keyword appears in page titles, bold font weight, and header tags. Also check with your backlinks that your keyword is included within your anchor text
I think starting with semi-competitive keywords will be a good deal. With Highly competitive keywords, you don't have the upper hand to rank good in search engines!!
Hello jg As u r in this field from last 2 years that's good to hear,but a small suggestion i like to give that i m from last 6 months only in this dynamic field but the same experience i have also suffer but for my one site i have also done what so ever u have written ie all type of submission. But a view days ie near about 20-25 days when all articles as well as directories get accepted,i m in top 3 ranks in my all keywords in near 100 million competition. So now just wait n watch the results of your hardwork.. hopefully it will come in ur desire ranks.. Thank you.. Byee..
Hi jg, As you are telling you are on 12th positions. So you can look at your 11 leading competitors and try to find from where they are getting backlinks. If possible you too can get backlinks from that sites or url. and as said by rohit, sometimes it happen that you have done lot of link building but those pages are not crawled so you can expect little delay in results. P.S. - I am in this field from few months but have little idea how thing works.
Not 12th position, i have mentioned that on 12th page. i m studying sites since last 15 days and make some changes accordingly,
Assuming that you have done everything that i know (b'cause you havent posted your url), few things you need to understand, since there are 100 million other sites, and you have been working only for 1.5 months you need to have patience, the top serps are very volatile, each minute adjustments that big horses out there who have been there since years, makes will keep pushing you up and down, give the site a gestation period of atleast 3 months if not more and see it settling down, then watch your competitor in that particular page and start scoring over them in their tactics and then you will start seeing the difference, once your site has settled in a page and engines start believing you as a good samaritan out there, each minor adjustment done by you is taken seriously and given the due weightage, now whatever you do is taken as tactics of a rookie, u understand the algorithm from the point of view of a human mind, that is how the engine builders are working on now, to give it the look and feel of a human mind, so put on your thinking cap
I think this is the only way now.. You need to spend a lot for high quality links.. also Add unique contents regularly including your keyword with twist .
Hello, i Found it little bit difficult to find high quality links as my link page pr is zero so higher pr sites are not accept my link request. Now i m writing some unique article and start article submission. i have started one blog also, and i m putting unique content in to it, so i can get more one way links. now i m only concentrate on one way links as Google is not giving more weight to reciprocal links.
if you have completed your on site seo, there is only one think you can do. it's building backlinks. what do you expect from people?
the backlinks who contain your anchor text have pr2 or pr6? is a big diff! In case you really finished SEO work, the only thing is high pr BL. No offence, but if you want a prof. opinions from some ppls, give us more info`s
Thanks to all members for great response, Sorry but i cant give more details about site as it is not mine. btw i continued with link building and i have found one natural link building way and try to work on it from today it salves. lets see what happen.
