http://www.peppermintdirectory.com On the right hand side is the Advertisements. Can someone do an image that would fit in good and thus replace the Advertisement (the word replaced with an image, in other words)? Need a small image of some sort that would fit in that area plus fit the theme and colors of the site. PM me if you can. Thank you.
Do you mean you basically want a title graphic instead that said "Advertisements" ? PM details of what you're after including the dimensions of the proposed image and I'll take a look.
I have to give a big thanks to ideas_man for fixing me up with a neat graphic to put on the site! Here it is... http://www.peppermintdirectory.com Now instead of it saying "Advertisements" which google can pick up and thus discount the links below, it is now a graphic that says "Advertisements" and as far as I know, google does not pick up graphics. Thanks man!!!
Oh so it was a Google dodge eh? lol. I don't know much about Google and how it operates, but if the word "Advertisements" can cause problems..... does the filename need adjusting? I know Google has image search and all that, but does the name of images affect things? I have no idea....just thinking out loud
What browser you using Caydel? Looks like FireFox..... Layout is fine in IE6 EDIT: ye just tried in FF and the layout does break up.
I use both browsers, but did not check firefox on this change! Geesh....now to find a way to also make it work in firefox! Yeah, it was a dodge! Someone told me that google either ignores the links shown when the word advertisement is used (or say, partner links, sponsor links, that sort of thing). But if the word is a graphic, then they do not pick it up and the links are then picked up by google. Whether that works or not, only an expert could say (or google). (usually I tell people to use a real browser when they say they use firefox, but since I use firefox for most forums (for some reason, I can not get this forum and a few others shown in IE).
What do you have against FF? It seems that only someone with brass balls would entrust all their work to IE...
