need someone who can configure my lighttpd on CentOS 5 linux

    i have installed it without any errors and it's running fine... the .conf file is default because i tryed already to edit it but without success. :S so it just needs to be configured.

    it's running but when i go to my browser and type in the ip address of my server i get a 404 page not found error.

    if anyone can help me, please let me know.

    all solved... me idiot was watching the wrong ip in my browser. and i installed all just great and it's working.

    i thought that the ip for my console is the same as the ip for root access to my server. but it's two different ips.

    thread closed.
