    Hello,

Joomla seems to have an isssue where the account passwords do not work including the admin password. Please PM me if you can reset password.

I have access to ftp, cpanel, myphpadmin and mySql.

Coder must be able to do this without affecting the site functions.

***Looking to establish long-term relationship with coder:).

Is it just the admin password that does not work or is it that none of accounts work. Let me know.

    Best Regards,
    MM

Here is the simple solution - try yourself...

    1. Open the phpmyadmin from cpanel

    2. Select the database that you have installed joomla on

    3. Browse jos_users table (it is second last table in the list)

    4. just edit the table and note your admin name as given and write the following encrypted as password

    5. Encrypted password to write: e10adc3949ba59abbe56e057f20f883e

    6. This password is: 123456

That's it your password has been reset to 123456 - now login to your admin section and change to whatever you like.

    Hope this helps...

No advanced skills are required here. Infogle has posted the working solution to webtalk101's problem.
When I happened to have similar issues, I basically replaced the admin access information with one from a working instance, a fresh localhost install usually did help.
