**Need someone to edit my WordPress blog to create placeholders for Ads** I have attached 2 screenshots of my index page and a single post page of my blog. I need someone to put divs or places where I can easily place my AdSense or other code to run ads on the site. The images have necessary ad spots circled in red. I can understand code so you can manually edit the current styles. All I need is someone to create the placeholders for me and provide comments as where to enter my ad code and for what location it is on the page. I dont required a robust backend, just someone to place the appropriate divs in the circled locations so I can enter the ads without messing without changing anything else on the current layout. the site for you to view is http://www.linkablog.com see attachments for screenshots. Looking to get it done ASAP. Payment will be via PayPal.
Hello, I took a look at the blog and to be honest have never seen a wordpress set up like yours. I am sure there are lots like it but I can't seem to get any adsense to show up except up at the top below the header as one line 5 text links and at the bottom as a 728 wide block. I think it may have something to do with the dynamic settings or maybe conflicting plugins. I am not sure. If you feel somebody else might be able to figure it out better feel free to do that and sorry for the inconveniance and your time. Or if you wouldn't mind trying a different theme to see if that would work I think I might be able to get it working. Again sorry about this and your time. To be honest it is the first blog I really had trouble installing adsense on. Have you tried installing adsense before or maybe have a plugin doing it? If so this may be why it isn't appearing right.
I tried doing it for him. I pasted the raw adsense code into the sidebar, header and footer, used php and div tags and the only adsense that came up was the header text ads and a footer. I couldn't get any sidebar ads to show up. I am not sure why it won't work. Maybe somebody with more WordPress experiance can figure it out.
Actually Visio deserves the $30, as I am sure that if you actually viewed the source of the page, you would see all of the ads there, but what actually is happening, is google does not have enough ads to display on that page for that target. Remember the MAX ad placements your allowed to have on 1 page is 3. But that doesn't mean they are ALWAYS going to show. If you have Yahoo, they will show because they use duplicate ads to fill in the empty spots.
Thanks Kip for the comment! I was thinking that was the problem but couldn't find where these extra adsense blocks were placed in. I will let whoever else trys get the $30.
