    Hi,

I am looking for someone who can program a dropdown horizontal menu I have designed with jQuery and css.

I want it to slide down on hover, and back up when the hover finishes, and also if there is more than 6 items on a dropdown box, I want an arrow to appear at the bottom to let people scroll through the menu items past 6 (on hover), and upon such a scroll, I would like it to then have the ability to scroll back up with an arrow at the top.

The coding must be well documented for editing, with appropriate variable names.

The design has rounded corners in parts, which must be fully working, using a graphical method, so it can be easily edited by changing the images.

It also needs to have a "selected" state for items, preferably using a css class.

    Best Regards,

    Adam.

P.S. There may be more future work if I am suitably impressed with the quality of work provided, including the quality of documentation (useful comments throughout the code and appropriate variable and constant names, etc.)

Also please provide examples of similar work you have carried out if available when making a quote ;)

Just thought that I would also mention that I would also like the menu to work in all major browsers, including ie6, lol

Well as far as my knowledge concern, this will bring problems with some browsers, I mean there could be fixes out there, but the fact for the menu "of being scrollable" seems that could bring huge problems.
Is it 100% necessary to do this or you can restructure your menu, to make it simpler for the people, and don't just put 50 links or more in a single column.

The scroll feature could always be disabled in very difficult browsers, but it's not that I plan on having loads of links in one column myself, its that this menu is going to be sold commercially, built into templates which I am selling, and so I thought the scroll might be a nice way not to bombard users with too much at once if a template buyer does use a lot of links in one section.

As long as it can do such a downgrade for difficult browsers, without breaking or disabling access to links, I will be happy.

Here is the design if it helps give people a better idea of what I am after :D

Surely there are people on here that could do this? It's not that complicated!!!

I will accept it if someone makes a css version without the vertical scroll feature, and I can do the jquery myself. Though I will pay more if someone can do the jquery too.

Here are some possible pays for the job:-

Full jQuery and CSS Menu - Max budget $25

CSS only menu - Max $12
