Buying Need Someone To Modify Already Made Script

I have a script that needs some modifying.

It is basically a counter script but I need it to store the position in a txt file so it does not restart on page load.

Do you need to write couter number when closing the window/refresh. So when counter is opened again read from last number. Right?
