I am using 3 plugins at the moment to pull meta tags to use on the fb open graph from posts/pages of my wordpress blog. 2 of the plugins are interfering witch each other, this is one of the problems secondly I'd like to be able to specify a custom meta description for individual posts. If you are able to help shoot me a pm. I am willing to pay for this small job. Thanks dpers
To do it the way you are suggesting is NOT a small job. If you just use the natural functions of WordPress and provide an excerpt, it will show when you post your articles to Facebook. If your theme does not recognize excerpts, then you can use ALL In One SEO to provide a description of each post, and that will also show when you post to Facebook. Using 3 plug ins to do the same thing is overkill and probably why nothing is working correctly. If 2 plug ins are conflicting with each other, then stop using one. No one needs 3 Facebook plug ins. You can find one that does what you need. There are 100's of WordPress/Facebook plug ins out there.
