Need someone to install a template in my phpb forum

Download the template, unzip the package, upload the template folder in the templates .. you should have somethign like:

phpbb (the forum)
-templates
--subSilver
--yournewtheme
----the files in the template folder

Enter the admin panel. Add the template and then set it. Should work

 

that is correct, you don't need someone to do this, you would have to grant ftp access. not a good idea.

especially granting ftp access to people with such low post counts.

Keep in mind that, if you install new templates, installed modifications will not appear in the newly installed template; you will have to do the same modifications to this template as any other
If you haven't installed modifications, you don't have to worry about anything, of course!
